FROM A Chihuahua dressed as Jared Leto a Morkie as Salma Hayek these celebrity inspired pooches are each a diamond in the RUFF. IF you thought you had seen all the pathbreaking fashion statements at this year’s Met Gala, then these PET GALA celebrations are not to be missed. Images show some adorable dogs making some amazing fashion statements at this year’s Anthony Rubio’s The Pet Gala. Recreated looks presented at The Pet Gala include Jared Letto, Rihanna, Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Salma Hayek, Bad Bunny, Dua Lipa, Diddy, Naomi Campbell and Emily Blunt. Pet Couturier Anthony Rubio moved away from his usual dog photo project based after The Met Gala’s looks this year with this stunning The Pet Gala inaugural event. Anthony has been doing this since 2013. Over the years, Anthony Rubio's charity base runway shows have raised over four million dollars for animal shelters and rescue groups. “I have always been obsessed with fashion ever since I could remember,” said Anthony. “As an advocate for animal rescue and pet adoption I have, from the start, used the platform afforded me through my fashion design career to bring awareness to the plight of those who needed a voice to speak for them. “When my Met Gala recreations became news I decided that I wanted to create an event similar to the Met Gala to raise funds for Animal rescue and who better to help me than actual rescues as models. “This year I chose to create this inaugural event completely financed out of pocket to show that I could do this. “This year the theme, as was with the Met Gala, was a celebration of the late great legend, Karl Lagerfeld. “I enjoyed recreating the most standout creations of the recent Met Gala and hope they have moved and enticed everyone into wanting more.” mediadrumimages/AnthonyRubioDesigns,Image: 780513518, License: Rights-managed, Restrictions: , Model Release: no

Novac od ulaznica, koje su koštale sto dolara, ide za životinje kojima treba pomoć.

Met Gala je dobila opaku konkurenciju – prošlog je tjedna održana Pet Gala!

Umjesto poznatih glumaca, pjevača i performera, na crvenom su tepihu ovoga puta zasjali terijeri, čivave, španijeli… I to njih čak 70-ak.

A neki od njih nisu se libili rekreirati stylinge poznatih zvijezda i pokazati kako oni izgledaju u psećem ruhu.

Ovaj ultimativni pseći modni događaj počeo je kao fotografski projekt još 2013., a koncept je bio taj da unikatne toalete koje nose psići na fotografijama idu na aukciju te da se novac donira za izgradnju skloništa za životinje.

Toga se organizatori drže i danas, te dio iznosa karte za ovaj prestižni event i dalje ide za životinjice kojima je potrebna pomoć.
